We operate the site in good faith.  We try to ensure that the information it contains is accurate and up to date to the best of our knowledge, and we believe that any opinions that we express are correct. But we give you no warranty or guarantee of any kind, and we shall have no legal responsibility or liability whatsoever to you for any error or omission the site may contain, or otherwise as a result of your visiting the site or your use of or reliance upon any part of its contents.

Assumption that English law applies

Except where otherwise stated, all information is given and any legal opinions are expressed on the basis that English law applies.

The Knowledge Bank

This is a private area which may only be accessed by permitted users on and subject to these Conditions.  Although in our discretion we may continue to make archived material available to such users, it should be treated with especial caution because it is highly likely to be out of date.  We may cancel the registration and permitted access of any user, and/or refuse registration to any proposed user, at any time and without having to give any reason for doing so.

We have no legal responsibility to you unless we have agreed to act for you

Nothing stated anywhere on the site may be regarded as legal advice and/or relied upon as justifying a particular course of action.  APP Wine Law will only accept legal responsibility to a client (a) who has requested specific advice, and (b) for whom we have agreed to act.

IP Rights

We own or are licensees of any copyright works and all other intellectual property rights in all material published on the site.  Other than for your own reference, or to bring the site or its contents to the attention of any other person to whom it may be of interest, you may not without our prior written consent print, reproduce, distribute, publish, download or save any part of the site in any way, or in any other publication, medium or website.

Law and jurisdiction

The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute that may arise between us in connection with your use of the site, and any such dispute will be governed by and determined in accordance with English law.

By visiting any page on the site, and/or by completing any signup or download request form linked to from any such page, you are deemed to have accepted these Conditions. We may vary them from time to time, and by re-visiting the site you are deemed to have accepted the version in force at the time of your visit
